The default setting for a new blog is that only registered users may comment your posts. This is to help you (yeah you, the admin) identify who is who. While this setting could be proved useful in some situation, but in most cases you would want everyone to be able to post their comment. Here's how you do it (if you haven't already done so):
- Go to your Dashboard
- Next click on Settings
- Choose the 'Comments' tab
- And on the 'Who can Comment' question, answer it with 'Anyone - includes Anonymous users'
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit 'Save'
